People definitely shrug and look the other way, Pat.  In a suburb of Toronto last night, a 67 year old woman fell; called for help and was heard by some people but ignored.  She froze to death a block from her own home.

Great post, but I really don't see the media changing.  They aren't really interested in making things better.  They are out for sensationalism I'm a thinking.

I watched that interview as well and admired that man who reminded me somewhat of my father. He was very direct and with words that need to be paid attention to. Thanks for your visit to my blog luv and yes I have lost 40lbs after all and I do like thin better as does my heart.

I agree too, Pat_B. But have a feeling our hearing the truth from the media is wishful thinking. They are not about to bite the hands that feed them.
