Re: This is lovely dear friend and a rewrite I think which is great.
Tough as an old Boot Sweetie a pain in the groin but that's getting better , be very careful getting out of baths or showers with wet feet and the climbing step ladders, A neighbor I had once climbed an apple tree on a ladder and reached out to get the last big apple, slipped and that was curtains it was a sort of morbid joke amongst the smallholders as he was very frugal, although he did give me a little tiny pot of honey every year.

Thank you EE . I don't know if you find it the same, but I very often have to tweek the poem after posting, it is a job to keep looking at the same words and and to get them right.

I liked the youthfulness of it all as well! My soldier is gone and I am a bit forlorn but it won't be long until he returns! I hope you are feeling better! sam

Friends
Your poem was nice Chiff-Chaff. I liked it. I like bumble bees and buttercups. I think you like Mars bars... But I also know you have a way with words.

I like how the speaker speaks and through the words indicates what the other person is saying.
