Well for some reason these flowers are reminding me of plums...
I guess I must just be a bit hungry. Hope you had a nice Christmas day and boxing day.

C.C. ....yes, a very bad idea, climbing steps...

with wet bare feet (or in socks as I've found out)...glad you didn't hurt yourself worse...

the flowers, as always, are gorgeous, and seem to be posing....

C.C. I could box your ears, you have to take better care of you

Frogs have little suction pads on their tootsies and you could have done real harm.....besides not much dignity being found with just a towel draped around.

You wrap up warm and do the real English thing.....don't bathe for a  bit. Drink cups of sweet tea for the shock and just stay cosy. Chicken soup for inner comfort.

cluck cluck cluck..................

Awwww.  So sorry you fell and at the same time thankful that you did not injure yourself more than you did.  What beautiful flowers are these.  Absolutely unique.  You are such a sweetie.  I did go to sleep and I did have pleasant dreams and maybe I am ten minutes younger.  I didn't see any mistakes.

ChCh - No --- do not climb ladders, steps with wet feet.  Bless ya' - so thankful you're not on a stretcher in the ER and I would wonder seeing your weather report, how they would manuver through the snow and all you're having there.  Oh my - I think Froggies have sticky on their toes is why they can hop and stick to the lily pads.  You don't have sticky on your toesies do you ChCh?  Please heal and try no more antics or quick actions while the winter keeps us a bit dulled.  Beautiful florals here and thank you ~ Be Well and Please Heal - E.E. (Chumpet could have helped ya here with a new balloon maybe; you think?) ~

Just the holiday newsletter/ Thank you for your get well messages, actually I have just been  taking it easy and one light meal; a day. My poor old goose sees to be acting strangely It didn't eat it's food, not a good sign. The blackbirds have arrived to take over last years vacant spaces these are a different type very nervous probably why they have survived. Last years batch were too tame and the neighbors have cats, my stray one ignores the birds  but runs the cats. A brief medical note I said yesterday I was going to raise the lid to the attic because the tanks might get frozen. I did and jumped in the shower and then I thought that's a bit too much got out of the shower climbed the steps wet feet bottom step slipped crashed to the floor, lay momentarily thinking I  wouldn't want to spend the next twenty four hours on a stretcher in a corridor of the Hospitable if the bumpy ride wouldn't be enough. Fortunately being tough I had only hurt my hand and my foot a little bit, well  a bit sore this morning, but  write this as a warning do not climb steps with wet feet. Question how do frogs with wet feet grip water lily leaves? Be lucky.
