Jollyjeff, johnmacnab, geri, TAPS, BC-A, thanks for dropping in during the holidays!
Addendum: as the insurance guy was busy telling me how they could not cover the water damage, there was a loud "bang/twang!!" from the garage. The overhead door tension spring has chosen that moment to snap. Also not covered. Wear tear and age (13 years).
Ah, the snooze alarm...a luxury! And now I keep it in reach.

And all the best to you too in 2011, my busy, busy friend. One thing - I'll find it easier to write 2011 than I did to write 2010. I kept having to correcect myself with 2100 er 2001. Dammit!

If I ever retire, I may never set the alarm again. I might even become a night owl and shift my waking hours completely!

I gave up the alarm clock when I retired. Actually, I've never worn a watch since, either.
