I'm blushing,Kabu had a wicked moment that I'll not comment further on. I am happy company is coming from Detroit, if a Red Wing feed it to the dogs.

This was so great. You have such a good heart. I loved the post then I got around here and found Kabu had embellished it to such a funny point I just cracked up. Hope you and your friend just have a great time. Don't you worry one bit you and the boy will teach each other a few tricks about general life from different periods. It will be a blessing....

Can't imagine you a Harridan but one never knows of course.
Yes it will be grand to have a lad in the house and he isn't there all the time either so you will still get your down time and the unmentionables....well unless they are crotchless ...or hanging from the chandelier...think I'd better leave.

It'll be nice for you to have his company
I think and you can always find a quiet space when you need it? Have a good weekend

A harridan? I doubt that very seriously for you are always promoting a smile! I  chuckled at the unmentionables for I live alone and at times I can get a bit lazy about putting things away as they should! Thankfully there's a closet in my small den so I can stuff things if the bell rings or a kid turns the lock unexpectedly! Have a great visit with Suzie, too! I noticed I had spelled it incorrectly a few posts back in commenting! I have a dear friend named Suzie but she spells her's Susie! lol And, I knew the Habs would not be denied a victory! They took change in the first period and then held the ice! KUDOS to them! GO Habs GO!!!!!

I remember longing for even five minutes of alone time

when I had kids, job, house, shopping, laundry, yard, extended family, someone at me all the time.  Now it's just me and the radio.
