How exciting
you're getting ready to go! You can replace a hard drive for 65 dollars??? WOW! This thing was taken in with memory problems they said but the part is embedded in the hard drive which would cost over 500 dollars to replace, so they got it running somehow but we can expect it to crash anytime!

I'm very glad for you that you got your computer problem fixed so (relatively) painlessy. I decided a long time ago that I had to make friends with four people: my doctor, my dentist, my car mechanic, and my computer guru. I hasten to add that in each case I picked people I could be friends with even without their special qualifications, but it's been useful: I get excellent service...
Anyway, I hope that you'll have a great trip, keep us informed about your adventures, and post lots of your great pictures...
