He does implore us to be contrite! I think it is important to ask forgiveness and I am a huge proponent of praise and thanksgiving on a daily basis. I enjoyed this post! sam

I wrote a poem very similiar to the scripture you wrote.
I am thankful for everyday that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ blesses me with. I've been given a second chance, although I frustrate myself by making wrong decisons still, it is so very comforting that if I confess my sins and really mean that I am sorry, I will be forgiven. God is amazing and answers my prayers daily. It baffles me, cause I feel unworthy of such love and blessings! But, I am thankful because my family is starting to see the old me, the son, husband and father that I was before I went over the edge a year and a half ago. Very inspiring and I will be reading your entries more often. God bless you and keep up the work. HE is taking notes!
