I just read several book placed first in the Scottish Highlands and then Colonial North Carolina, high in the mountains.....I could so easily relate this haiku to scenes in both places played out several times.....going into the woods in the early morning.....hunting, or to get water or looking for a private spot.....the exact feel.  I wish you wrote these more often....and tried our hand at some different styles.

Imaginative haiku .. explains why I always feel watched when I'm in the woods.

Now I like this take on the woods watching! It is a bit eerie, but equally enlightening! I often wonder if you might put your haikus in a book and sell it! I would purchase one! Shelly
