Hey Kabu this was really good, but sometimes when I look I can't see your blog am I going snow blind or do you write two at once. First I've heard about Santa being a Gnome I know Gnomes work for him and of course go down the smaller chimneys I know this is true because I found a small hat in the fireplace one Christmas morning and a note saying sorry wrong address.

What a delightful post, Kabu! Christmas is so delightful and magical, even for mature children.

Kabu
As a little boy I always enjoyed Christmas tremendously, and you are lucky if you can rekindle a child's pleasure in it...

The snow started it, Kabu, then your post gave the final touch! Now I'm humming "It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...."

This is so much fun and such a happy attitude it's almost enough
to send the old  bah! humbug!  packing. I know where the string of lights is hiding, where the holly jolly wreaths are tucked away. I wonder...

Oh Kabuski --- my heart goes pitter patter with this blognote of yours.  Love the bit of history --- and it reminded me (this time of year I get all sappy and sentimental) of when I played the 'littlest angel' in our first grade production.  Yes, I was the littlest one (pixie hair and all) that had saved a cigar box full of goodies I had collected for my gift to the King ~ So, today when I bring about all my 'flair' and specials to the Holidays - I remember it's the LOVE I share with any and all and that is what my 'little box (my heart)' gives to our Lord to honor this day and Saint Nicholas ~ Santa himself, well he was a good one too so I've heard.  Oh please do go on ~ and I hope you are enjoying your decorating.  I'm yet to begin but I have some fun and projects to start.   (TAPS put up the first Santa this morning...)  xoxoxo C Elyse ~

I'm still wondering "where did the year go?".  Here we are with Christmas around the corner.  My favourite part(s) - decorating the house and having the family over for Christmas eve dinner.
