Have a wonderful time , I don't love to fly either ....it is the length of
the journey, but my babies live at the end so there we are, and it does us good to get away even if we have to make ourselves go .......Enjoy and take our love with you.

my oh my but AD ~ your writing keeps me in comfort if even sharing outside the comfort zone.  I've had a trek on roads like these (especially when I lived in Maine) - and I have a GPS and you know, I simply don't want to take the time to set it up or use it...LOL --- I'm excited yet about your trek soon.  Elyse

I would be nervous about walking those dark roads myself...

You have a guardian angel because you are always doing something for someone else! A marvelous quality! And finally your Habs have gotten some respect insofar as the power ranking are concerned! I think they moved up 6 places! About time I say! sam

I don't like any roads after dark. Don't see well on wide open spaces,
and it's worse with headlights glaring in front of me and brights in the rear-view mirror. I haven't flown but one time since 2004, and they practically have to pry me out of the house these days.

I love reading your blogs. I grew up a large part of my childhood in the country mountains. Loved it. Don't know how I would manage now. It is true things are more easily navagated when you are younger. Have a good and blessed trip.

Not far north of here is the northern MO area of rolling hills, and narrow curving roads through forests and farmlands with animals domesticated and wild.  I've always loved driving through, both day and night.  And, I've always loved the spookiness of driving there at night with unknown eyes reflecting out of the dark.
