It is sad when a person feels they have to turn to crime to have an identity or attention, and have been driven by circumstance to make bad choices.   Good poem that leads to a  good thought to affirm people that seem neglected in something constructive.

Just their character, some time in youth and old age it's choices.

Life is complex. How can one explain when two siblings from the same home can turn out so differently, when one is successful and the other a drop-out.

WE ARE NOT ALL VICTIMS OF CHILDHOOD ABUSE, AND NEGLECT, I'M SIMPLY SAYING SOMETIMES ONES BED IS ALREADY MADE FOR THEM. I'VE WORKED IN A CORRECTIONAL FACILITY AS A NURSE APPARENTLY YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF HOW A PERSON'S EVIRONMENT SHAPES WHO THEY BECOME.

TRY TO IMAGINE AS A CHILD, I AM SPEAKING OF TWO SISTERS IN THE FACILITY I WORKED AT, YOUR PARENTS INJECTING YOU WITH HEROIN TO KEEP YOU QUIET, TELL ME THAT WOULDN'T AFFECT YOU, I BELIEVE NURTURE OVER NATURE

BUT NOT EVERYONE HAS A REASON, THEY SIMPLY MADE THEIR OWN BED

Do I hear a Clarence Darrel here? That society is responsible for our actions because within it this what we have become? So if crime were the norm in my environment, I had my predestination. So, if every body is a victim, where's the crime? Since we're all vicims of our society, crime doesn't need a reason. So welcome to Bedlam!
