Why leave?
Grab a table at a sidewalk cafe, sip an espresso and take notes. Chit chat with tourists, give them false directions somewhere. Perhaps one day, as happened to me in Seattle once, an angel will come by and bless you as he goes on his way. I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying your New York City kind of day!
