Yes, Sam, I saw that!
Wouldn't that be cool? I wonder if I have enough airmile points to fly you up here to watch the game with me if that happens? I'll work on it, LOL!

Thanks, Wiley
but I could not hurt him however, even if I'm so ANGRY with him. Although the financial aspect hurts too, it's the betrayal as a friend that is most difficult. I guess it happens to all of us now and then.

I totally agree with you FSI,
a quiet weekend is good for morale, a battery recharger!

The Wings pulled one out in OT tonight! It was a great goal to end it and there was a delayed penalty at the time on Phoenix! So they had them totally on the ropes! I see your Habs are leading their division! I just checked the power ranking and as of today my Wings are 5 and your Habs are 6! Now we just need to get them 1 and 2 and to the finals! sam

Beautiful doggie and I am so sorry your friend has scammed you it would seem. If a retired Montréal cop could help you somehow, let me know luv.

We all need and deserve a quite weekend once in awhile!

LOL - Poor Zoe! Cats can put the fear into doggies - I've seen it on more than one occasion. Those sweet kitties can turn into roaring, scratching tigers very quickly, and doggies who are NOT stupid do not stick around. Zoe was smart!

Cesar ~~~ how awesome...and Louka the look-alike dog is a gorgeous animal.  As far as the friend, I'm sorry to hear that AD ~  ~ however, I like your smiles always by the end; just brings it all back round to CESAR?  wow, what he wouldn't let me know about my pack here.  (and I don't think he'd be whisperin') LOL ~

*By the way, I meant to say it took me 'total' of 9 hours to get where I was going - from point A - B with a few pitstops along the way (usually it only takes me 6) ~ Elyse *thanks for the read.

LOL - yep - pets, be it dogs or cats,  are the bosses! Louka is half wolf, by the way. As for my friend, getting a lawyer would be throwing good money after bad. He has nothing in his name, and there's no way to prove if he is telling the truth when he tells me he has no cash either. Some days I feel sorry for him; other days I SO want to kick his butt!!!

Yes Malcom - they are gorgeous dogs - with minds of their own!

Thank you, Justi
I imagine you are doing lots and lots of little jars for Christmas? I bet it smells so good in your house right now with all the mixes simmering....YUM!

He is very impressive!
As for my ex-associate, I don't question my judgment, except to ask myself now and then why I let it go this far. I already know the answer - I trusted him because I've known him for so long. Who would have guessed? A lesson learned.

The home crowd is there, Sam, but...
we have to give some of the other teams a chance now and then ()! Nah - I have a feeling that I'm geting no money from him. Sad affair.

Re: What a beautiful dog!
Yeh - that's one problem with winter - it getting dark so early. But we get used to it, and I enjoy sitting by the fire with the doggies - the dark kind of puts its arms around us to keep us all snug. Huskeys are beautiful, but very hard-headed!

LOL, BC-A - there's their new nickname!

She is beautiful and if I were younger I would love to have dogs.
The neighbours have a Husky but she is terribly timid no fun at all. Mr. Graysome was hillarious last time she(Zoe) came over .He stood at the front screen door roaring with anger and every hair on his body on end. Zoe listened and fled.

A beautiful doggie, but they tend to have a lot of wolf in them, extremely independent and sometimes not entirely tameable...

Of course, I find myself in a similar position - Jag is the boss, and I'd better follow orders, or else! I guess I will have to write about that a bit more...LOL

And I really hope that in the end your 'friend' will will do the right thing! I must say that I admire your patience - I know that by now I would have drawn up my artillery, i.e. my lawyer...

What a beautiful dog. I loved this post as always. It is like all the readers get a personal note from you, that is great. i do wish this ex associate could come up with some money for both your coffers. Be blessed, I will have to catch up with all your posts soon. I am working a lot now.

Louka seems to be the alpha --
I love Cesar, too -- he's got that alpha male, leader of the pack thing down pat. In addition to his gift with communicating with dogs, he's an astute businessman -- saw a feature about him, and he's doing all right.  You're right. She's gorgeous.  It's sad when a man you once admired and trusted becomes pitiful and slippery. Don't let it make you question your judgment -- he's the one who changed.

It is so unfortunate your previous associate is excuse laden! It's so much better to assume the responsibility for the actions and then do what it takes to fix it! But, alas, it seems as though it will take a long time for resolution to be yours! You have such a hard time sleeping and to be awakened is just somehow so darn wrong! I think I would have opted for the hockey game! I see the Habs have 17 points which is good at this stage of the season, but what's up with the four losses at home! The home crowd needs to help ignite them! sam

What a beautiful dog!

We had a husky when I was growing up.  He was all white.  The best friend a kid ever had.  I really don't like the time change, because I don't like the idea that it gets dark early!  lol

Thanks for sharing the story :)
