Here's the problem: There's been a lot of research done in this area, and it has been shown fairly concusively that 'attack ads'
work in changing people's minds. And if they work, politicians are going to use them! And of course it has nothing to do with 'honesty' or 'truth' or other such quaint notions...

The bong water? UGH! There was mud slinging in debates in my neck of the woods, too! I get so tired of it! They should take a lesson from sports, one wins with good offense and defense, not necessarily humiliating one's foe! sam
