Being mid October, it could start any time here.
I also hope it's not very heavy this year and that I have very little appointments that need to be made during the winter.

everyone has had weird weather, today it was hot in the morning and before the afternoon was here it had turned chilly

Oh dear, I guess I'm the only one in Blogit who likes snow. I'll start waxing my toboggan any day now in anitcipation. Busy is good - it means everybody works!

I suppose it is good for business if you have little periods of bad weather and then fine again FS. The salt is a bit of a bugbear.
