There are no easy answers to insomnia! I have never slept a lot in my life but I sleep when I am tired and then good to go! Now, if hockey were on 24/7 neither of us would complain! lol I hope you get needed sleep soon1 I love how you end your posts with a smile, it is what counts and I always leave with one, too! My Wings got off to a good start, I hope they maintain it and we meet for the cup! I was reading a bit on hockey and they favor Vancouver to take the cup back to Canada! It's a long season so we shall see what happens! sam

I find myself not able to handle late nights either. Back when I as a kid I could easily go to one or two in the morning. Not anymore. I would just drag through the day. Hopefully you find a solution that gets you the sleep you need.

I promised myself all those work years that I would sleep when my body

clock dictated and no the boss....and I/we do. late late to bed often and late late to wake. Can you do more and more work from home so you can at least cut down the driving.

Lets not discuss the hockey today luv.

Hope you're back on some kind of schedule
When the body's time clock goes out of synch it's hugely disruptive isn't it? I've been having trouble getting off to sleep this week because of so much going on; when I finally do manage it the alarm goes off!

I am so sorry, that is a bummer. Have you tried milk and bread. This combination is supposed to produce L-tryptophane in your brain and that simply encourages or some say activates sleep. Try it. Piece of toast and a glass of milk before retiring.

wow --- if I don't get at least 6 hours sleep I'm a zulu --- bumping into walls and such.  Maybe Bud will soothe you into Morpheus' arms.  Shhhhh...I hope this finds you resting at least. xoxox Elyse

From what I read, you do everything that should get you a
good night's sleep -- you exercise a bit every day, work your mind, interact with people. I don't like the idea of pills and meds to force sleep. Dr. Oz says we need a routine, go to bed at the same time every night, etc., etc. Unlike you, who maintains the smile in spite of sleeplessness, I get logy, slow, and cranky... So here's wishing you pleasant dreams.
