Ah - grandchildren. What they can do to a granny's heart! Nice pool, BTW!

Kabu
I love your tales of meeting your 'down-under' family! I'm enjoying this tremendously, and hope there'll be lots more...

Kabu, that pool sure looks inviting, and I bet they'll enjoy it...
especially if its a long hot summer "down under", as it was here....sounds like you were off and running on your trip and destinations......

Well thank you Kabu so nice to have a second Spring in one year. To be feted and in demand so ardently was a grandmother's dream I would imagine. All right you could be 35 and still be a grandmother. Hope Wiley is alright, dreaming I expect, keep warm get use to the cold gradually perhaps you will have a pool next year, it is a bit like talking to a stranger, but one has to get over these funny ideas.

Spring. Oh, Australia sounds wonderful.
I love autumn here, but winter's a whole nother bugger.

This is so silly of me

Logically in my head, I know that any neighborhood, most anywhere in the world is not very different from another but I had to take a second look at the photo because that just does not look like my visuals of Australia...it looks like any given backyard in any given place here in the US.

Silly, I know.

Such a lovely story I can see you through eyes of a Gangan. They fill your heart, soul and mind no matter what they are doing. I love hearing all the little details.

Kabuski ~ my goodness but what a wonderful journal you're sharing.  I feel the family love and warmth all the way down here in Texas.  Oh it's good you're back and I know you have so much to share yet --- (I'll wait) ~ I love the pics --- yes, I saw the first blog there with your lovely son and the condo.  Tell us more when you can.  Meanwhile I will keep checking in.  I'm so glad you had this wonderful visit.  Awww...  C Elyse
