I couldn't believe what my eyes were watching that day a year after my wife died, it was too much grief, and hope just drained out of me. God Bless all the victim's and you as well luv.

I was in a weekly staff meeting which was interrupted by employees letting us know what had happened. We spent the rest of the day glued to the computer news reports from CNN. I had a business trip scheduled three weeks later and my boss gave me a choice. If I was too frightened to fly, I didn't have to go. I chose to proceed as planned rather than allow terrorists to influence those kinds of decisions.

That day just happened to be my scheduled day off, so you know what I did all day--I could not tear myself away from CNN. I watched the same things over and over, all day long, in some kind of freaked out daze. It is forever emblazoned on my mind.
