Re: Rumor
I just realized I wrote the story title wrong.. it should have been 'A Murder of Crows' .. I'm sorry..

Re: Rumor

I did the two story as one.. but they were more excited with the battle in the corn field than the race.. they kept asking for the battle scene.. I will admit my guilt here.. I altered the ending, so that the crows were not poking Jack Muggins to death, but together the crows picked him up and flew him to a far away deserted island where he could not find his way back to the human world..

I told Ariq last night that you were happy that they liked the story, and he said he still remembered the story and he still liked it.. I will read it again to the boys when they come home from school..

Have you considered making the story your 'Item' in Blogit? or publish it as an e-book?

Orcalion, did Ariq and Aza ever read "Ghost Drive" ..
(my current fiction posting which I am rewriting and revising somewhat)..."A Murder of Crows" was a sequel to it...(I think they could handle "Ghost Drive", but you might want to check it out first....)..tell them both I am really happy they liked ."....."Crows".....

Orcalion, I would love to read his story. Where is the link?

Thank you, Everyone..

I showed Ariq all your comments here.. and he was blushing out of pride..

I told him that everyone -including Rumor- makes mistakes in tenses.. but he was more excited in asking, "Seriously, Mum? Did Rumor really shiver when he was reading my stories?" (I'm not sure if I ever mentioned that 'Crows of Death' -with little gore adjustments- is one of Ariq and Aza's favorite bedtime stories)..

He thanked all of you for the comments and I'm thanking you too..

Having a blog has helped Ariq learn to express himself and reflect on himself better. After having a blog for some time, he is enjoying it more now..

Thank you..

What a darling boy he is, and so creative.  I checked out everything he had on his blog.  It was great.

How wonderful - I think creativity should be encouraged in the young (and in the old)
