Except for the rattlesnakes I like the desert creatures, too! Shelly

Walking in the Desert
Nice Poem. What I Admire most is the burst of energy these little creatures have to dart away in a moment's notice.

Very cute poem - I love the desert and recently spent a good hour trying to snap a photo of a beautiful, very large, lizard (I think it was a lizard).  Your poem made me think of the hour in the 108 degree temp.  Stupid me comes to mind.  Thanks for your recent comment regarding my hourglass poem.  I loved your additional thoughts about an hourglass.

Re: Mr. MB
I walk around with a big old western cowgirl hat on my head. I love the outdoors but ,I've learned to cover up ones dainty places that might get sun burnt. Thanks for thoughts and I do go over lots of boulders. Femia

Sweet little poem Femia. Don't you get sun burnt. I picture you with a little pink parasol daintily picking your way past boulders. MB
