Three year-old and birthday cakes...

I'm surprised that eating birthday cake with hand hasn't been included in the first three years development stages books.. As far as I can remember, all 3 years-old always do that (mine definitely do!)..

I'm sometimes reluctant taking my children to my parents' home, thinking about all the cleaning up they have to do once we've gone home.. but, now I realise that leaving family gathering times too far apart is an even worse torture for the grandparents..

Hope you can have a nice rest after the gathering..

Oh what a lovely post. Made me miss my gang so much.
Little ones are such a joy. This sounded like a day hard to surpass even with the mess they left!

I have a covered patio and it has saved me more than once, too! Poor Bud, but I agree I would not want to be shut out of the excitement and fellowship either! Damn the clean up, lol! sam
