I'm not envious, it's great to read about wonderful sisterhoods like
yours, but the only person who was ever that close was my sister Rose. She and I instantly understand each other, even the unspoken thoughts. Sometimes when I'm thinking about her she emails me with a joke or a little family update. She lives in Oregon and I'm in Illinois so we don't lunch together or visit back and forth very often. I'm not the same person I was in high school, although I am much fonder now than I was then of my classmates and friends.

I'm so jealous
When I moved away to college, i lost all contact with the high school group.....while I left college, the college group faded fast.....

Once in awhile, I think of folks I haven't talked to in so long. There's Facebook, but I hate it, even though I use it. No, sitting around the beach knocking back a bucket of beer with these folks is what I'd rather do.
