That study of Southern Africa sounds very interesting to me.  I have followed that for most of my adult life beginning in the 1960's and 1970's with apartheid, decolonization, etc.  You talking about it makes me have a desire to go back to school.  LOL

That was a funny story with your Dad! Ready at all times! I couldn't help but think that you and Anne ended up getting your calm back from working for your Dad! He is a very special father! And, so happy that you feel you can handle the course! I can't wait until I am congratulating you on earning your degree; whether you put it to work or not doesn't belittle the accomplishment! sam

I will comment on tutoring. I totally understand what you mean how satisfying it is to teach when you see the student "gets it". I have only tutored Math (to other children than my own). It was my worst subject in school, so I know how hard it can be to "get it". But... when that light goes on in their brain.... !!!!

Re: dsm
No, I am happy that my full-time days of school are now over. I guess you could say that I am "schooled out." Grad school might be something I do, but it would be part-time for me. With a house of my own I could not afford to take quit.

FSI, do you wish you were going back full time?  Maybe grad school next year, while you're young?
