Thank you Spid you could always post some of your earlier poems, but you seem to have some nice people,( that's for my benefit if they read this) visiting who seem to find your  present bog compelling, perhaps they like competitive poems, I assume the prize won't be a fly paper.

Re:
Thankyou  FS. It was only a short ride I couldn't afford the fare to go any further.

Re:

Spid whatever were you doing in that section you could have been a top earner by now, People have short memories, well unless one annoys them and we all do that at times. Years ago my Dad had a store in a shed and he had a visit from a Health Inspector.

It was pointed out that the place was festooned with cobwebs and my Dad who was cute in a way said. No I can't knock those down, It is the custom around these parts. Although I think he believed it secretly

Re: I love trains but I did get caught once on one of the old British rail

What are you allergic to something in them I expect, I prefer a drop of the old stuff in tea.

Jumped in a train once in a hurry 10 pairs of eyes solmnly appraised me ( Ladies only } on the carriage window.

Re: Corncrake
Hope you have settled Femia, they pulled all our local railtracks up a few years ago that wasn't very farsighted the villages they passed through are small towns now. Read you later MB.

Corncrake
Wonderful train ride and the view looking out the window into a venture seen through the window of lifes eye. The coughdrop soothing with it powerful affects ones throat. Love it Mr. MB FEma I'm still swaying back and forth from this train ride.

I love trains but I did get caught once on one of the old British rail
trains...by the time I remembered to open the door from the outside....we had moved on and I had missed my station.Took me hours to get back. Fisherman's Friends...do you have a cold? I am allergic to them.

Every one of my senses was touched with this poem. So many things to see and ponder on the train ride you describe...The images are quite fleeting.
