Look on the good side: even if you have to be living upside down again, you'll be leaving our fall and going into an Aussie spring or even early summer - what could be nicer?

It seemed a mystery to me, too, regarding that family that can't stand each other. There is no sense in that. Perhaps portions of the family that get along should meet, and leave the rest out...no sense rewarding bad behavior, after all! The things we do to ourselves in the name of 'blood'...ridiculous! Just because you're born into a clan doesn't earn you automatic respect...we have to gain that...and then maintain it!

I can't imagine both together, but the results, even separated into different seasons, can be explosive and destructive.
Ah, family - a cursed blessing...or a blessed curse?..seems to be so in any and all that I know of, my own most definitely included. Sorry you are in angst about your upcoming visit to yours, Dear Kabu..wish I knew a magic formula to deal - other than take a lot of deep breaths, step back from stressful moments, remember the wonder and beauty of the new life you have carved out and keep reminding yourself that you deserve to be happy too - you know the love that is in your heart for those of blood and very often that is enough for them to know too. Keep cool and well, my friend.
