This is just beautiful John and I love the thought of birds taking a siesta. Thank you for the visit and Gosh>> only 2 storeys high!! You are missing out closer inspection of the stars I must say..

I think you are correct on the siesta for the birds and perhaps that is why they are so chipper in the morning!  Exquisite imagery, too! sam

Hi Sir I like it when you write more seriously, I hope the breeze soothes your wandering spirit. It is hot here but the curtains are flapping like wild geese entering an oven and I must seek comfort in the fresh air that blows directly from the sewerage beds. Well it is perfumed.
