FormerStudentIntern

T During her last summer in 2003 I walked her to the supermarket. Her bills that she could pay but forgot, including the oil brought the neighborhood block association involved. I didn’t get along with the attitude of one woman social worker (because the cold fall was coming on) who wanted for my diabetes at the time and toe disability. She scared me and I declined her help. My neighbor found that our state senator would provide oil from his company paid for by the association that he was involved with once. From then he worked out filling the tank with a certain amount of oil each month for a certain price worth,
At the time that my mother, the widow of a blueprint foreman at a stop nut company that had government contracts in aviation (Alzheimer’s symptoms) died in the ICU in December I sat in the quiet room, watching the film Maid In Manhattan on the hospital TV drinking coffee. Recently the woman saw me again. I still don’t get along with her when I’m alright thanks to help and God. So time certainly was suspended in the year of her death and up to now. However I need love and concern desperately in the right way.

Somehow memories do cling on even with a passing and before you know it time has passed and sometimes these memories seem like only yesterday. Thanks so much for your visit FSI.

I think this is thoughtful an assessment as I have read! I believe it was easier because she was bed ridden than had she been more healthy! The time does fly or so it seems and a lot happens in a decade! Happy 4th to you, too! sam
