One idea on how tto pick them would be to put a fork on the end of a long pole and pick them that way..or entice some one to go up the ladder for you with the promise of some of the fruit. OR use a BB gun and shot them down into a basket below...LOL LOL/ then you can make cherry pies, cherry cobbler, pit and freeze for use at a later time, for use in smoothies, etc. Eat then for snacks or cherry preserves/LB

Very good LB. If he was alive today it would probably be nylon. L.B This for the first year ever I have cherries normally the birds chomp through them starting when they are green. I don't want to clamber up ladders to pick them which I shall have to do although some are not quite ripe, help any ideas what I can do with them.
