I believe that translation is difficult but it is not impossible! A worthy challenge! I truly enjoyed the poem, too! sam

I love that poem. the wardrobe is our inner self, our self concept, the focal point for our feelings; but too, it is our outlook. how is my outlook today? do i expect great things today, or just ordinary? wonderful.

In place of "meaning", imagery often works well
Actually, it depends on the poem. The translation of thought poems, like the Psalms, allows great latitude for style while remaining true to the intent of the poem. Perhaps that is the best guide: intent.
