I like what Bill said, but I think it is stunning beauty, too! I am getting out to read tonight but I am losing steam! It is amazing how far behind a person can get when they can't read for a few days! And I just saw your comment on my technology poem! I must tell you that I have been charging it for several hours and it still will not play! So, I had to call my son again and he will be coming over tomorrow, rather today to have another look! It boggles my mind1  I think it is dead as  can be, but for the life of me I cannot get it figured out! I think I might leave it in all night in the USB port! I hope to get in a couple of your poems tonight, too! Thanks for stopping by even when I could not read, I cherish your visits! I still to get a look at the poem you wrote to show me how it is done, I will get caught up on your marvelous poetry as soon as I can! sam

HI Taps
I love dianthus and have just bought some different varieties of pinks, I hope to show these later on this page, These we are looking at now as you know are Sweet Williams they used to be grown for sale, but carnation imported have probably dented sales. Also nickname Stinking Billy's, they don't half pong if the water is not changed frequently. My brother puts them on the parent's grave, but I prefer a geraniums in Summer.

According to Ralph Waldo Emerson, they are evidence that the earth laughs.
I've always planted dianthus.  My mother called them all "pinks".
