I like themed rooms, too! I just learned about using ice cubes to water plants, as it melts it distributes the water evenly and it is important to keep the cubes away from the stems! Good luck because it sounds like a fabulous room! I like the idea of paint to accentuate it it as well! [My den is my sanctuary and it has a lighthouse theme.] sam
