Too right you are!  And since we are clearly currently living with the greater of two evils, we know what we're talking about!  I can't imagine why people wouldn't vote, in all honesty.  It's one day every four years for presidential elections, for pete's sake!  And it's advertised up the wazoo so it's a bit hard to forget!  Why would you not want to take advantage of the voice that was given to you, and the voice that, for women and minorities, was fought so hard to attain.

good point
only 35% of US citizens voted in 2000 - which basically means that bush (or even gore) only had 'true' support of on  less that 20% of the country.  Sure, we like to complain and bitch about politicians.  Some of us even con ourselves into believing that we are enacting some kind of power by NOT voting.  WE are the ones to blame for the Yo-Yos in office if we don't get off our asses to the library and fill out a damn card -- oh,,, yeah -- picking up a book might not hurt either.
