So much of what you say is historically accurate, and I agree with your analysis that basically to consider the Bible 'perfect' or the Koran, or any document written, printed, published through the hands of humans, no matter how inspired, flaws and absurdities will creep in!
Few of the Faithful--whatever religion--seem to keep in touch with the most basic teachings, and lose the content, they are so concerned with the packaging.
Oh, and there is that theory that when we depart these bodies, we land in whatever heaven or hell we most believe in. In which case, I will wake up in Middle-earth.

What i need to know is how much of the Old Testament laws is relevant. That's all.
She seems toinfer that maybe they all are.
So I use the laws o clean and unclean meats.
I can also use Leviticus 25 -- the Hholy Days. So don't you think a question should be answered then?
If this law is perfect, what do we do with these Holy Days -- Passover, Yom Kippur, Sukkkoth? Why aren't they kept by most Christians? Is it because they aren't perfect?
Once a conclusion is drawn, facts and evidcne must be produced to support said conclusion. Is there enough evidence to support her conclusion?
And by the way, I am a bastard, I was born out of wedlock. So you are quite correct there.
