Planning ahead in the case of a leak would have been best. I am glad anything is working at all even if it is too little too late. This is a tragedy that could have been averted.

Really. Just as they load tankers with crude oil, can't they just slurp up the oil and water together into ships and then process out the salt water?

Thumbs up from me with this post I wonder if they really want to stop this
leak properly....one day a big scandal is going to surface;just like the oil is now.

I am with you on this..but it is only a temp fix for now and it is not completely containing the oil, some of it is still seeping into the ocean. What a mess..can you just imagine what a mess it is going to be when the hurricane weather hits and it blows all that oil inland!! /LB

The cap only "maybe" has slowed the leak, but not stopped it.
The "real" fix is months away yet.
