Some things are not meant to be understood, and no point worrying our
heads about them. Is that what the message is?

Oh I am so sorry that you didn't understand. The knowledge we need to know is Bible given and when we ask we do get... most of the time. Because like you said there are things only God knows. This is what I'm referring. The Bible is there for us to learn and know and to become fluent with and in. Life however is the unknown. What tomorrow holds, etc. We can't foresee things and it is this unknown that I refer. I always think and plan ahead and I want to know what people think, why something had to happen, when this is going to be over with and the wanting to know was taking my faith out of the picture. Now I get to sit back and sigh because I still want to know but I know that He knows it all and as long as I have surrendered my life to Him it will all be ok. Even when things seem bad it's ok. God has the plans, I'm just the one who hopefully obeys. Does this help at all or confuse you more my dear?

I am not sure I understand this post. He says in getting all get understanding. If we need wisdom, ask and He will give us Wisdom, He tells us the OT is for our teaching. If teaching then is there not a need to know, does he not expect us to attempt to understand all except those things He has kept for himself? This is just not clear to me, of course he understands all and we are in him; however, we have the job given man in the first chapter of Genisis, to rule over all the earth. Do we then, not need to know in order to make ourselves available to God to do his will in rulership?
