- Go to Girls Just Can't drive!
I do not deny that she could have felt pain after the accident. I just find it ironic that she cited having pain two weeks later, once she found out the car I was driving belonged to my doctor mother in law. The entire time she was more worried about being a late to a party more than anything else. Both she and her mom were recorded saying that it was good thing nobody was hurt or injured especially the baby. So, I am just shocked at her allegations.

Girls just can't drive
Could be that she felt fine at the accident and then 5 to 6 hrs later she started have pain. I had an auto accident a few years back, I was shook up but was not in any pain until later that evening and I started having pain in my shoulders and my neck, my doctor called it a Neck Sprain. I wasn't looking for money however, I did want my medical bills covered. But didn't you say this girl was sited as being at fault..if so then her insurance should cover her medical if she has the PIP insurance either way it was her fault so she is responsible for her own medical bills/LB

You know what that happened to my husband and I once in Atlanta. There were four people in the car and they came out of nowhere and blindsided us. All was well until they set up the legal beagle work. We simply stood our ground to our insurance agency, told them these people had all the earmarks of those simply wrecking for the money. They held out and those people didn't get a dime. It is harder to deal with it that way but the idea that people want to get others for anything and anyway they can is truly disgusting.

Re: Very sad, I have been in the exact same situation,
That is exactly what she is claiming " soft tissue injuries", and she was the one who insisted the accident be taken care of as quickly as possible as she had somewhere she needed to be. Her mom also came to the scene of the accident and was quoted saying " Luckily, nobody was hurt, especially the baby." I'm guessing after she left the accident she saw this as a chance to make money.
