I thought at first it was whining but as I studied the Book of Job, I understood his pain that caused him to carry on so! His body was riddled with boils, so much so, that it was unbearable; and he lost all of his children in a single accident! The accident, but it was at the hand of God resulting from the goading of Satan. But he remains loyal to God and never says a bad word of Him. The first friend is more compassionate, but my favorite is the young one, Elihu, he goes after Job and the first friend. Zophar rebuked Job as well. My favorite part of the book is the Interlude on Wisdom 28:1-28. And I agree it is total surrender to the Lord! Actually it is quite easy, just allow His will to guide you! You will discover your talents and He will give you wisdom and understanding! I know this to be true for I spent 3 years in deep prayer trying to discover what He wanted for me! I was resistant, avoid that and you will have an easier transition! My blessings to you, too! sam
