Re: Hello Bards
Really? And Tom Skerrit played him?? I didn't know that, and I doubt if Roman (our Duke) knows it either!
Want a job as our archivist? The pay is negligible. In fact, only the set-builder gets paid (Been there, done that, don't bother.)
You ARE a fan! If your passport is in order and you can make it over here some weekend in June, the first 20 veterans are admitted free to each performance. No promises as to the quality, so maybe you'd want to wait till the first reviews come in. And thank you - I'm going to bed smarter than I got up - happens all the time.

Hello Bards
Duke Forrest played by Tom Skerrit Son of Duke Forrest 5 years old Stephan Altman. 1970.
Can't remember these episodes sorry. Hope your book goes through. Famous actors stand a good chance, don't use live ammo. C. C.

Re: Hello pards
I'm not sure how this guy got promoted. Apparently he was in charge of a depot (repple depple)because he'e the one who appoints Hawkeye Pierce and his friend Duke (Nathan Bedford Forrest) to the MASH unit in the first place. (Do you remember a "Duke"? I don't.)

Hello pards
That's the army I like such quick promotion. I suppose he was a Doctor as well. It is funny how the characters come to mind. I will have to see if the program is repeated on Sky.
Can't salute very well on here Sir.

Re: Thanks for the update, it's great to hear from you...
It IS a blast - now that I'm sure of my lines! It was touch and go, till then. I'd resolved never to go to another audition again ("You're 75, for God's sake! Act your age!"). Good hearing from you!

Re: Parenthood
Which scene? I LOVED Parenthood (perhaps the original with Steve Martin?)! What stuck with me was the comparison of being a parent to riding a rollercoaster - you pay the admission and then - for the most part - just hang on and love your kids.
