Contrary to what some believe--that those of us who support Obama
voted for him with expectations of miracles and wonders--I don't expect the man to make no mistakes, nor do I expect him to always go the way I'd find ideal for this country. He stated that he means to be a President for the whole nation, not just those who voted for him. I believe that, and I believe that this is what he is trying to do.
I can live with the decisions he makes that are for The Other Guys.
No matter how much I disagree with them, the fact remains there truly was no one else to vote for. McCain and That Woman would have been a debacle waiting to happen.
As for Hillary... I did not see how we could have her and not Bill, too.

Problem is, Obama has improved the country;
he's gotten a lot of measures through Congress that needed to be in place; he's improved our relations with the rest of the world; he has fearlessly stood up to some big money interests.
His only shortcoming comes when he emulates conservative policies and rhetoric, in relation to Iran among others, in approving more offshore drilling (now thankfully rescinded with the disaster); and other measures that looi like Bush would have supported them.
