It rained where I live, too! And a root beer float sounds heavenly! sam

I hate the sound of rain at night. That is one sound that'll keep me up all night.

im in for root beer day-im painting my nails and putting red lipstic on ugh
especially today my little female dog from the hot place decided to go out with a bang and busted the pipes above the hot water heater, so my place flooded without any rain although it looks like rain is going to be visiting us here very very very soon. like maybe tomorrow.

Darson

I sympathize! Some years ago I woke to the ticking of a clock - but knowing we don't have one, at least not one that ticks, I also suspected that it was the dreaded H2 O - but it was in the house...The upshot? A new roof...

But I would never hanker after a root beer float - I absolutely detest root beer...In fact, I would sing with the temperance ladies of yore on that (staged) poster: 'Lips that touch root beer shall not touch mine"...

HEY COUNT ME IN.. I'M YELLING OVER THE DRIP
I want my root beer float now. Your post made me think of that song by the Beatles I can't remember the name of it but it is just 9  9  9  9 on and on until one could go mad. You are a trip and I always get a smile on my face when I read you. Love ya!
