According to Fortune Caterpillar has approx 85,000 employees which would mean the company sees an additional cost per employee of around $1175 per employee....

one hundred million -- that's a lot of money
and how much is their payroll?
It would seem that the cost is more than their entire payroll.
The figure seems suspect to me.
