Re: Re: Greenhouses
What a fantastic history you share.  Thank you CC ~ I appreciate your respect for the houses as well.  You see I have always wanted just a small one - like 8 x 10 or something to that scale.  I would specialize perse in the orchid and also in african violets - My husband is more the vegetable gardener - and gourd grower (those can carry through a flower patch let me tell you  There are gardens galore throughout this city I live in.  From the pots as you say but mostly beds upon beds and I plan to keep adding a bed a year (or two) until I fill up a rather large lot in front of my home.  It also helps with the mowing of this field () - and is why I had to employ a helper.  It can get away from me.  Busy Lizzy --- impatiens and begonias --- now those are hardy little ones.  I do adore a strong show of them.  The psychiatrist makes analysis of it all eh?  LOL --- but what else are they to do?  it's their teaching.  I think it wonderful you grow blooms for those in defect.  For I believe beauty reaches a soul - no matter what is physically abound.  (that touched my heart CC) - Aluminum braces might do well here - but I envision more the tinted glass (of course) or tinted something due to the Southern Sun - it can be brutal --- I enjoy the review on greenhouse and gardens - of course.  I am in search of the issue I found all the delightful choices for plans.  I think it was from the Mother Earth mag...not certain...'til next time - consider me E.E. of the elysian fields.

Re: Greenhouses
Thanks E.E. Re, greenhouses, I used to sell them and after a while it began to freak me out. Half of them were were used for tomatoes in the summer and storing bicycles in the Winter . The problem really is gardening is becoming to be treated as a hobby here, a lot of front drives are covered with slabs and pots are more in vogue. Sorry I am straying from Greenhouses. It really depends what you wish to grow in them, when you have more time you might suddenly fancy a certain type of flower to specialize in, no you say I like all flowers. I used to grow bedding plants for sale  and I got tired in time of the gaudy display. Although people loved it and I still grow Busy lizzies and begonias  for a few oldies who used to be customers and some for a hospital for people with brain defects as they appear to like flowers, well so one of the psychiatrists tells me and I make a remark which she tries to analyze as she admires my rarer specimens. There again I'm off the subject, but I will give you my view on greenhouses next time. I'll just say the ones we use mostly around here are aluminium, but I think they would be too flimsy for your climate. C.C.

Re: This four year old would never throw stones at birds....pull the cats tail
Sorry Kabu I have to put you down as a green fairy Mischief 2. You could become a golden one, I think someone has your training in hand so the Stern Fairy will not visit you for a while, it will teach you for messing around with Goblins. your Guilty plea has been taken into consideration Miaow.

You tell em CC - no throwing stones at birds --- please.

and I am so engrossed by this tale that I am up way past my bedtime because of all my activities today keeping me away from blogit - the first chance I had to read the next chapter --- and I have to tell you CC - this made me giggle:

Told you,’ cheeped Ethel. Slowly Alfy put his injured leg

on to the wall, it must have been painful because he half

closed one eye and swore a little bird swear word,

but I’m not about to repeat it here as it is not clever to swear,

 very often it is laziness.

Now this my friend is brilliant writing ~ because I've never heard a bird swear, but, I think it could happen.  and if it should happen, then I will consider it 'laziness' ~  I adore your morals here ~ E.E.

*by the way; no greenhouse yet --- no and if you have plans (simple ones) please send them.  We have many plans but too complicated.  I think it would be simple to design - but, apparently it's not so.
