Steyn is of course correct, as he usually is! But I think the growth of government is a bi-partisan affair...or tri-partisan in the case of Canada...
Admittedly, the Dems and in our case the Libs and the NDP (that's the New Democratic Party) are always better at tending the weeds...

Really? Then why can't he pass it? Why couldn't he pass it months ago when he had the super majority in the Senate? He should be able to pass anything he wants
without a single GOP vote.....
It's not the GOP...it's his own fractured party and his limp leadership skills.......

and most of the opposition stems from the lies and misrepresentation spread about the health care bill.
