Hi Bob I have had to invent a reason for your observation which is as follows a kind of metaphor> poppies her Grandmother  had told her of her own  daddy dying in Flanders and in her confused state (death of her love) with the kisses red lipstick and the Flander poppies. Help if this isn't what you meant. Nice one Bob, Punny is all I can think of.

I'm glad you liked it. It wasa challenge to write!  I couldn't pack all the "machinery" of the joke into something the size of a little limerick, so I made the title itself help, me out, and invented a girl friend with an uncontrollable addiction.  (Are we having pun yet?)
