I like polished fruit ~ it seems to lure me more - this rings of communion - breaking bread and all of what life offers - companionship ~ and colors - life as well as dullness and grays - you've captured it all. Yes, this is as a ghostly remembrance to me; a memory in your mind that must flame up now and then - I am captured by the imagery and the metaphors. El ~

every line of this is a gem. Do you have any idea how wonderful your
poetry is? I wonder who you are really. and why is it that something spilled on a white table cloth is always bright in color, sits in full view accusingly and you're the one who dropped it. I think this lady may have been a lover sometime.....your poetry leaves the reader wanting to turn this into their own imaginated story. Am I a fan....Oh yeah.

Corncrake - Reminiscing is something I do when I write..somehow reading this poem, every verse I feel has a message in it. Very nice.
