I have commented on Naut's posts several times. The gist of my comments is that every religon has somewhat similar attitudes -- like maybe there are references to violence against unbelievers in the Koran -- but the Koran lists Jews and Christians as believers, not infidels. And again, Muslim rulers have been far more tolerant of Christians and Jews historically than Christians in particular have been of Muslims and Jews. This is historically correct. Orthodox churches thrive in Moslem territory, for example, the Church of the Nativity and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, to name just two of the many.
And of course there is Spain. Do I need to elaborate?
While parts of the Koran may have promulgated violence, many Moslem rulers have taken an opposite stance. The same is with the sayings of Jesus and the Apostle Paul. While Jesus preached non-violence and love and respect, and whiile I Cor. 13 is oe of the greatest chapters in the Bible, Christians don't follow those precepts.
I want to continue the subject of this post in a bit, emphasizing further the destructiveness of certain beliefs that have no sound basis to them.

Hmmmm......
Do you feel the same way about Naut's outstanding posts? I don't see you there proving him wrong.....perhaps it because you don't need your clock cleaned?
