Comments on Zimbabwe and Jestina Mukoko

Persistence and a league of women planting trees to keep the old ways
alive, toppled a bad government in Kenya.

Her biography sounds so uninteresting, but beaten and threatened and surrounded by women , she and they used their culture to stop the men and to get their sons back from government abductors. They stripped naked, as that reminded the men that they were MOTHERS just like theirs and deserving of a hearing and an answering.

 Here is her bio

and there are documentaries about how she went about making a tree planting movement into a political movement. Amazing woman, just like your Jestina Mukoko. God help them and keep them safe and let them be heard and then let action be taken to heal these wrongs.

I'm sure that you have heard of her.

I don't know whether you should stay or go, it is always a dilemna when those who lack morality take over. His death may not even bring relief as the death of the dictator of Togo brought none, his son took over....

The Zimbabwe government appears to give no mind to outside opinions. The President has always done whatever he wants and has destroyed his own country, arrogantly and willfully and ignorantly.

Scarey power. The people have no power, or think that they have none. I have added you to my prayer lists on my family altar as I cannot think what else to do but to read you.
