A new side of Strat....the saver of pennies. Somehow the only one
I can really see you up to is filling the Champers bottle with small change.

Wylie, I missed you, my friend.
As the song says, I'll be around. Take care!

I hate to tell you, Guy, but, I want to be you, too --
only neither of us will ever grow up. Glad you got a kick out of this one!

I chopped the debit cards, too, Mason Garrett!
And strangely enough, it helped, too...

I know, Ari, weird, right?
Yet I don't know if I'm doing better or if I'm just more aware of the fact that I'm an idiot.

Awe, Raye, it's true --
THose damn drive thrus are cheaper, but you have to look at the cost of statins and stents later. And the dollar you save now will equal an expensive prescription later. Grrrr!!!

Strat
It's great to read you again old friend, and those were marvelous tips too. Stick around and make life here fun again

This was masterfully written, as is everything you write.
Stratster,
I've said it before, and I'll say it AGAIN! I want to be just like you, when I grow up. I'll be studying this, for a long time, to learn how you do it. Ya still GOT it, Pal.
However, I wouldn't go taking any drastic action, regarding products from Millwalkee, until I was damned certain that this is where the problem originated! Like suicide, it makes no sense, to choose a permanent solution, for a temporary problem!

I completely approve! And guess what! Im sitting here in comfort at home, after having excused myself from going to lunch with the other guys after a meeting (well, it was also gonna be boooooring, LOL), eating a salad I made myself with store brand tuna, store brand frozen (but of course zapped) peas, chopped celery and carrot, with a bit of store brand mayo...and sipping a glass of, well, not store brand but inexpensive and tasty Canadian wine...

Great tips, Strat! I've recently started putting money into savings
instead of spending it..."A penny saved is a penny earned."  Been practicing that for some time and as a result I'm doing better now "in this terrible economy" than I was doing when things were poppin'  Go figgur' LOL

Great tips, Strat!...:)
Useful and entertaining.. I notice fast food/unhealthy foods seem to be getting cheaper - dollar menus - while the prices of good, healthy eats are going up..
