Re: Re: DATA FROM NASA & NOAA IS NOT SHAKY GROUND
because what you say has nothing at all to with the actuality of Global Warming.

And you then go on to say that my support of Global Warming is on shaky ground.

I want to demonstrate to you the overwhelming evidence that a warming is indeed taking place and that here are the results.

And that, if you are right, then Civilization is in for a time of major disaster that nothing can be done about.

Will you at least admit that?  If Global Warming IS NOT TRUE, as yo assert, then we are faced with natural disasters that cannot be averted.

But if it is true, it's a matter of curbing emissions, which might take some time to mitigate the problem, but it will.

Your point of view is one that gives rise to hopelessness.  Mine gives some hope that things can be turned around.

DATA FROM NASA & NOAA IS NOT SHAKY GROUND
the breakup of ice in Antarctica is not shaky ground.

Drought in Texas, Four Corners, California, Australia, etc.  is not shaky ground.

The melting of glaciers all over the world is not shaky ground.

The melting of Greenland's icecap is not shaky ground.

The dwindling of the Arctic Ice is no shaky ground.

The low water levels in western reservoirs is not shaky ground.

Several years of record hurricanes and tornadoes is not shaky ground.

The record precipitation of recent years is not shaky ground.

And there's more.

These are actual occurrences.

But you say they are not attributable to Global Warming.

That means nothng can be done about them.

That means that we are in for plain old natural disasters that cannot be averted.  That means that millions of Americans will suffer (some are already) and nothing can be done about it.

That is, if Global Warming is not responsible.  But the good thing is that Global Warming is responsible.

And something can be done about it.
