I simply am in awe - and especially if you said, this just flowed ~ you go ahead now and 'rap' or rhyme or poem to tome this again --- You're a writer and I am blessed with inspiration each time I read your words --- You know that?  ~ You're fresh and with such passion - it's like seeing a brand new day begin again.  Elyse

Wow!! I am so thankful for these wonderful responses. I wasn't really sure about this, it kind of came out of nowhere.  But, I really appreciate all of the feedback and love.  Really!  Thank you, sooo much.

I like your flow, it runs like a stream of thought wisely avoiding the temptation to moralize, long may it run.

6 I’m glad that you’re here. On the bus I met a black woman that hated whites. She called me you know. I remembered a professor that said a white person doesn’t know what it’s like to be black. I said that I was sorry. In other words I apologized for history. However I identify with your poem as a white man. I’m not confident based on race or myself. But, I’m poor from the healthcare situation and didn’t make money enough in stocks with an unwise day trader. So I might identify even with her. Similarly to what you wrote but I applied to so called machismo; I identify with your poem but as a man. You’re an athlete? I know that playing sports affects your ego, mood, and emotions. It might affect girl athletes in particular. In any event take care love. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

You are a poet... that is why we here call what you write poetry :-)  not to "whiten" your words.. or to make them conform to our view of what it should be... but because what you write has  music and balance and rhythm , it touches the heart, it makes us think and react and feel.  Rap is poetry... its words are drenched in the feelings and emotions of everyday life.... and like life, rap sometimes is violent, sometimes tragic, or funny or militant... but it IS poetry.  You ARE a poet my friend and its nothing to be ashamed of but proud, very proud.  You have a unique style and a way to pour your emotions into simple sentences in a way that they move who reads you.  That IS poetry  :-)  xoxoxo

I like how your thoughts flow together. You addressed so much in such a small space.

Terrific, you need to check out Charles Payne... Google it.
You are not too much anything. You are not too little anything. You are YOU, the one God created to be a special one different than all the others, keep knowing you are IT!
